Antioch College was ready to take smart risks, and communicate differently to reach new audiences. While they came to Captains wanting to create a fresh message, we helped them create a whole new center of excellence designed to engage new communities and create a meaningful connection.



Antioch College, a liberal arts institution with a rich history in social justice, came to Captains with a fundraising challenge. With a new and transformational leader at their helm, they were looking to attract funders to participate in the rebuilding of their school from the ground up to serve the next generation of college students: primarily high capacity, first-generation college students (the same students who are now the majority population in K-12 schools nationwide). In their fundraising efforts, they had already tapped their alumni base, and wanted to appeal to an audience of high net worth donors without any ties to the institution.
