I can’t say I’m convinced that advertising has passed away.
I think it (what was the gender of your dear friend?) just needs to be looked at in a new light, and approached with innovation.
Like Ted touched upon in his heartfelt eulogy: good advertising = storytelling.
Perhaps the world needs more good story tellers.
And more good captains, for that matter.
