Our Account Services team is growing! We are seeking candidates at all levels to devote their creativity, energy and smarts to working on renewable energy and clean tech accounts (among others). Captains doesn’t have account people in the traditional sense. We expect everyone to bring their own creative skills to each project they manage. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Day to day interaction with a range of clients, including status updates, managing budgets, and keeping clients on task.
  • Working with senior team members to help ensure profitability on all projects flowing through the agency.
  • Managing projects to meet client deadlines and deliverables.
  • Being creative and strategic in the process of brainstorming new ideas for clients – then making them happen.
  • Be part of a team of original thinkers who are helping the agency grow and thrive.

Job Requirements: The successful candidate must have the following experience, skills and education.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
  • Between 1-10 years of marketing or communications experience. At least 1 year of experience at a traditional, full service, or interactive agency is required.
  • Account servicing and client interaction is a must. Familiar with account planning, budgets, and strategic process. Business development is a plus.
  • Excellent organization skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously with impeccable attention to detail. Ability to manage many types of deliverables including video, web, print, interactive, direct mail, collateral, radio, outdoor and more.
  • Great communication, writing, and editing skills. Can confidently communicate with clients and colleagues, to understand client needs, set client expectations, provide status, and present results.
  • Excellent knowledge of Internet, including research, social media, and trends.
  • Ability to take direction and work closely with other team members, as well as to work independently and be self motivated in a fast-paced environment.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
